Faculty Sponsor Responsibilities of International Scholars
Please be aware that as a faculty sponsor of a Visiting Scholar or Visiting Student Researcher, it is your responsibility to be compliant with Code of Federal Regulations, 22 CFR 62.10(e), which states that sponsors of international visitors are required to monitor their participants' physical location (site of activity), progress and welfare to the extent appropriate, and to ensure their participants' activities are consistent with the category indicated on their Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (DS-2019).
