It's that time of year for UC Berkeley postdoctoral scholars to review and select their benefit plans for the upcoming calendar year. The Open Enrollment period for plan year 2025 runs from 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, to 5 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024.
This is an excellent opportunity for postdocs to stay informed about the available benefit options and any updates to their plans. During this Open Enrollment period, you can make changes to your coverage that are not allowed at other times of the year, unless you experience a qualifying event such as marriage, the birth of a child, the arrival of a dependent in the United States, or loss of prior coverage. To assist in this process, Gallagher Benefits Services will host four virtual information sessions, during which representatives will provide insights into what's new for 2025 and outline the changes that can be made during Open Enrollment.
