The Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is an emergency food relief supply for the UC Berkeley community. The pantry offers items such as rice, pasta, milk, cereal, freezer items, and fresh produce. Campus community members are welcome to take as much as needed whenever needed, while being mindful that it is a shared community resource for emergencies. There are no eligibility requirements and all you need is your Cal ID. International scholars and students should review information on Public Charge before accessing these resources.

PATH to Care

The PATH to Care Center has confidential advocates that provide affirming, empowering, free, support to those impacted by sexual violence, sexual harassment, stalking and intimate partner violence. The center also offers training and resources to prevent, intervene in, and respond to harassment and violence.

Ombuds Office for Students & Postdoctoral Appointees

If you wish assistance sorting through a campus-related conflict or concern, the Ombuds Office is available to assist. The Ombuds staff will listen to your concerns, serve as a sounding board, discuss your options with you, and help you get a new perspective, and determine the next steps to take.

The office is strictly confidential and no one will know you have spoken with them unless you wish them to. The only exception to this confidentiality is where there appears to be imminent risk of serious harm or danger.

Please call 510-642-5754 to speak with an Ombuds staff representative.

Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination

The university has a dedicated office to assist those with concerns or who may have experienced harassment and discrimination on campus. Please visit their website for how to report harassment or discrimination and find related policies and resources.
